Perhaps you are gay.
I have see many women hide their sexuality through a veil of "religiousity".
The fact of the matter is NO man or woman can measure up to God. So, you will ALWAYS be disappointed.
However one WOULD think that if you have the love of God in you it would have inspired qualities of tolerance, compassion, kindness, patience and hopefulness that would help you let someone into your life.

There is no man with a pure heart just as there is no woman w/ a pure heart. No one could be as pure as God. You are never going to find someone w/ no faults or w/ a pure heart. BUT, it is possible to find someone w/ good intentions to be a good husband and to have a pure heart before God. When God sends the right person into your life, you will know it.
Good Luck!
God Bless!

God is first in my life; my companion/boyfriend knows this and has from the start. He will never be number one in my life, that is God's place. He (companion) can take the number two position.
I am the same in His life. God is in the number one position.
People were not meant to fill the position of God. When we look to others to fill the void, we are looking in the wrong place. Only God can fill the void.
Hope that helps!

You know, I seem to be moving in that direction myself. I am divorced and I have a child.
I don't think I am being called to be a nun or anything (*snort*), but I have joined the campaign to get women into the deaconry and priesthood. I feel that I am being guided toward a ministry of some kind rather than remarriage.

I am single and I am maddly in love with God. Recently I have found it is also possible to love a man as well because there is plenty of room in your heart and when it is someone God brings into your life you are only loving another part of God's own heart.

Yes I love God more than my husband when death departs us all we will have left is God to turn to.And I would hope my husband says the same thing. I do not want to become in between Him and God any day. God gives us a peaceful marriage.
===============================
God provides what my husband can't which is peace and spiritual satisfaction.

I'm married and I love God more than my husband, though I love my husband a lot. I find that when you put God first you have the capacity to love others even more.

that is kinda...rude. I think that a lot of men have a much better relationship with God, than I ever will. I have a restless spirit, and I have lots of trouble trusting God for things, unlike a lot of men I know, how just natuarlly trust God for everything. Don't ever thing your better then someone, because of gender, or race, or anything. That is a sin in itself.

I am engaged and my fiance and I both love God first and foremost, before we love one another, because it is through loving God that we learn how to love one another in the way Christ wants us to love one another.

All men are human and therefore fallible to sin and make mistakes. (Same can be applied to women.) Only God is perfect, because He is above mere humans. I don't compare my husband to God, and I know my husband wouldn't compare me to God. We all would suffer by comparison.
