Perhaps you need a multivitamin every day.

It could be a few things. Have you tried increasing your iron intake? if you are a little anemic that can slow you down some try a multi purpose vitamin w iron it can help. You are young and still growing your body needs good building blocks and it can help. Sleep is also part of the growing process for teens has it been only recently ?

Have you been stressed out lately? do you have a chance to catch up with the activities like school, chores at home ? If you can try to organize the day so you feel as though you have accomplished the requirements so you are not overwhelmed helps.

If things have been going well for you at school and home front is good you may want to see a Dr about your concerns. Underlying medical conditions can be a cause. Also Teens can have depression issues or chronic fatigue that can be properly addressed by your Dr. and can cause you to sleep more than you should.

getting to bed early is a good step on your part but feeling rested in the morning when you get up should be the result. I hope this helps

It doesn't sound as if you're not getting enough sleep, but are you actually going to sleep at 9? If not, try relaxing by listening to music and reading for 30 minutes or 1 hour then go to sleep.
I would recommend you see your doctor if this seems to be an ongoing problem as they will be the best to advise in this case.
I hope it's nothing serious!

First, you are more in need of a class in remedial English than in finding a reason and solution for always being TIRED.

Second, you go to sleep at 9pm and wake up at 7:40am? Congratulations! You're normal!!!

Third, as far as wanting to sleep all the time: welcome to the club! It is perfectly natural for mammals to want to sleep. Animals sleep most of the time to conserve energy. Man is the only creature on the planet that forces himself to do so at specific intervals, contrary to evolutionary processes (i.e., working nights; sleeping and eating at specific times; etc).

Fourth, if you're willing to take the advice of strangers instead of seeing a doctor, then you probably should stay asleep! Much healthier, that way!

Fifth, you're too old to go trick or treating, anyway! On the other hand, the sugar is sure to keep you awake! ;)

Have you had your blood sugar checked recently? If not, have it checked.
