How do we know Satan hasn't been good all along? How do we know that Satan just isn't a defeated good guy?

Christians say Satan is extremely smart. He was once the greatest of angels. If so, then how do we know that he isn't more powerful than Jehovah? How do we know that Satan doesn't actually believe he can win in the end?

Good question. "Christians" are always saying that non-Christians are deceived by Satan. But I suppose that one cardinal feature of being deceived by Satan is that you're unaware of it - so how do Christians know they're not deceived? Is it not written: "He shall deceive the very elect" (Matt 24:24)?
Maybe that's why so many "Christians" preach hatred and intolerance instead of love and compassion. They're deceived by Satan, poor dears. We really ought to pity them their eternal damnation.

Satan cannot be "good", its against his nature.
Jesus said "He was a murderer and a liar from the beginning".
He is however, extremely clever. He is the "father of lies".
Its true that anyone can be deceived and not even know it, especially my fellow self righteous Christians.
