Put confectioners sugar in a bowl...guesstimate how much you want. Put a tsp of water or milk in and mix. Add a little more at a time till you get the consistency that you want!

1 cup of flour
1 cup of shortening
1/2 tsp of salt
1/2 cup of water
- icing sugar
Mix flour and shortening till fluffy and add salt. Add water a little at a time mixing after each addition. Add icing sugar a little at a time until desired consistency is achieved.

Brandieb has it if you are looking for a simple icing, use milk, add a bit at a time, for an added flavor add some vanilla.

Best is melt butter confection sugar & Almond liguor or what ever you want the frosting to taste like>I use pinapple juice Or your choice instead of water>

powdered sugar and water, vanilla if you want, and milk if you want but just powdered sugar and water is all you really need, just keep mixing together until you get the consistence you want
