Eight here at home,
twelve at my parents house (just a few blocks down the street) in a cozy outside enclosure,
and I care for dozens around town (ferals).

I spend so much time around cats that I sometimes think I'm starting to smell like them. LOL

I though the question was straight forward!!! Anyway, I have 1 - 3 at the moment. It's like this....I adopted one cat from the pound about two years ago. I named her Christina as it was the closest name to Christmas as she was meant to be my Christmas present. About 6 months ago a white cat used to come and eat left over cat food and then she decided she liked it here. Her name is Bianca as she is a white cat and Bianca means white in Italian. I can't say she is mine as I didn't adopt her so legally she is not mine. The same with another cat who has been hanging around for the past couple of weeks. I asked my husband what to call him and he said "gone" so I pretended I didn't hear him correctly and said "What Gordon?". So the name stuck. He isn't really my cat either but he is here everyday too. So really I have one cat that I own and belongs to me and is microchipped with my details as her owner and the other two are being fed my me, live here but I can't say they are mine. Sorry if you were just hoping for a simple number for an answer....

are you asking how many cats do you think is OK?
then ill tell you,
anymore than two in my town and you have problems with the law.
getting them fixed is very costly if they become aggressive it could cost a large amount of problems for you at the vet, two cats are manageable anymore than that can truly be a big mistake. indoor cats are the only cats that real cat lovers should own.

I have 3 female cats: A black Domestic Medium Hair named Velvet who is 15, a natural mink Tonkinese named Marina who is 3 and a natural mink Tonkinese named Tosca who is 9.5 months. Marina looks like the second photo in the link and Tosca looks like the third photo only not as dark yet since she is still so young.
