Well, I like your question, but the way I prepare my spaghetti is a little like your list EXCEPT for the calamari.....I add meat and sausage, mushrooms, garlic (lots of fresh )bell pepper, dieced celery, capers, fresh ground beef, roasted tomatoes, sauce and blend ingrediants together while the noodles are boiling. When noodles are done, I combine all the ingrediants together in a large aluminum pan and top the whole pan with cheese (I use lots of seasons - too numerous to name) then into the oven for about 20 -30 minutes. Out comes BAKED SPAGHETTI and I top it off with salad and Italian crusted bread and dessert (Key Lime Pie)
