I'm not allergic to them myself personally but I've got a good friend of mine called Gary who is really allergic to them he can't take anything that has egg products in it.

Good question,
Thank you.

My daughter developed an egg allergy during her pregnancy 9 years ago and could not eat or touch anything with eggs in it or it would cause an anafalactic shock - 9 years later the doctor done a blood test to check - she was NOT allergic to eggs, seemingly it was panic attacks. So get it checked out first, if you are it means you cannot eat cakes, pancakes, mars bars, coleslaw, ready made diners and thousand other things.

I'm not but if you are thinking of getting a flu jab and you are allergic to eggs, watch out. The culture injected is grown in eggs. Tell the Nurse or Doctor and, in the meantime ask for an allergy test.

I'm not allergic to eggs but I did develop a life-threatening allergy to Latex back in January (Hospital stay, I knew I was sensitive to latex and warned the staff, they didn't check an IV bottle which had a latex bung and hey presto...). It is entirely possible to suddenly develop and allergy.

You should see your Doctor and ask to be referred to an Allergy specialist, they can perform a batch of blood tests to see what you are allergic to :o)

Good luck!

Actually, I think I have a food intolerance to eggs. They give me diarrhea for three days. For cooking and baking, buy powdered egg replacer. It is egg-free and it enables you to make cakes and other baked goods.

Egg is one of the most common food allergies in children. It is less common in adults, although still possible.
