Hello;
I really think it is better, it also heightens the body's metabolism, and keeps it burning high all day and night long.

ive been a runner for years and learned that light morning running is extremely effective for someones overall fitness. It improves vitality, speeds up metobolism, and gives you that runners high. The most effective time to train is midday. As much as i like morning runs, training midday gives the best results. Morning and Night are on the lower ends, while running midday is on top. So it doesnt really matter if your running in the morning or at night, you should get the same benifits. I would of course lean more toward morning because after a work out youll be eating and drinking for the rest of the day for recovery. Wherease at night youll be going to sleep some time after so the nutrients lost wont be regained till the morning.

the benefit would be much greater if performed earlier in the day, but this is really depending on the intensity at which you exercise size at. the duration and intensity of exercise dictates the increase in the resting metabolic rate after exercise, where real fat loss occurs not during exercise. however the metabolic rate naturally decreases at night so the effects of high intensity exercise may not be as effective for fat loss when performed at night vs early in the day. you also can not properly feed the body after exercise at night, this would increase recovery time needed in between training sessions not decrease it.

It is better to exercise as early in the morning as possible because it boosts your metabolism, making your body burn more calories throughout the day.
Once you're not eating anymore, like during sleep, the metabolism slows down.
As for hurting you, no I don't think it will. It would just be better early, like I said.

No, it doesn't matter what time of day you work out, your burning calories just the same...although I guess if you got up and went for a run before you ate anything, then I guess you would be burning the calories from the night before.
