It's a lame attempt to stir up controversy. Why on Earth anyone is surprised by such photos from her is beyond me. There's never been a time when she hasn't tried to stir up controversy. She has no talent, and her entire career depends on it. It was the same thing when she made out with Madonna on stage. Everyone went crazy, like it was so shocking. I couldn't understand how people would have NOT expected them to do that. I could see that coming a mile away.
The people making the hoopla about it would really be best served just dismissing it as a typical desperate attempt to gain publicity on her part. The more attention they give to it, the more they increase the chances of that type of thing being repeated in the future. Why can't they see that?

In light of the fact that the non-profit Pope of Italy intentionally covered up child crimes around the world, what Britney Spears did cannot be viewed as blasphemy at all (my view).
Was it a kind of copycat of singer Madonna to attract entertainment publicity and sell merchandise? Likely, it seems to me.
These are all variations of the Superbowl Half-Time show (intentional wardrobe malfunction) by singer Janet Jackson in what is viewed by some as a post-Christian America (due to legal rulings about the Bible, prayer, and the 10 Commandments by the USA Supreme Court).

Madonna is a bit of an idiot, but at least she always gave the impression of being in control of herself and her career. Britney is just a train wreck. She's dumber than a box of rocks, and she seems to actually relish her image as a loser who can't find her pants.
The priest photos, who cares. Catholics only make themselves look stupid by bothering to get offended by this.

It's sad really. Stirring up any controversy is all she has left.

A nice contribution to the Catholic Church can work miracles. (I'm sure she made a hefty one too.)
