i don't know that he removed it in a way that we can comprehend. i think he "took" the rib or "created" woman from Adam's rib... i have been checking but can't find one definite wording... again.. when we get to heaven, god will answer all our questions... you gotta have faith

It doesn't matter.
If you are looking for a scientific answer.... how or if God took a rib from Adam cannot be proven or disproven and the mechanics cannot be explained.
I don't think this should be a soul searching question... honestly the mechanics don't matter because it does not change the bottom line. God may or may not have stayed within the boundaries in which we know science.
If this is a question of curiosity... let your imagination take it away! As a child I imagined God reaching in and just pulling it out - no blood or gore. But that's me and my imagination...
