Consider the impasse of a one God universe.
He is all-knowing and all-powerful.
He can't go anywhere since He is already everywhere.
He can't do anything since the act of doing presupposes a position.
His universe is irrevocably thermodynamic having no friction by definition. So, He has to create friction: War, Fear, Sickness, Death,
To keep his dying show on the road.

Do you agree?

Now look, from a real disaster you get a pig of energy: Sacrifice, Heroism, Grief, Separation, Fear and Violent Death, and remember one violent death yields more energy than a cancer ward.

Yes thats exactly it
but the thing you call god, I dont think is real

I believe their is Something out there that
as you say
"is all-knowing and all-powerful.
can't go anywhere since He is already everywhere.
can't do anything since the act of doing presupposes a position.
His universe is irrevocably thermodynamic having no friction by definition. So, He has to create friction: War, Fear, Sickness, Death"

I believe that "God" is something we can never understand so why question it, why bother becuase you'll never realy know untill you die

=)))

No. The laws of thermodynamics only apply to physical things. God is generally not considered physical, and ideas (war, fear, sickness, etc) are also not physical. Second, there is more to the universe than just God. Your theory seems to presuppose the only thing in the universe is God.

I disagree. He may be all knowing, but is not all powerful. He depends on us to do our part, by solving our own problems, with his guidance. He may not travel , because he is everywhere, but he can certainly shift his focus away or torward a particular area. He can make thing happen, especially in an area that has moved him to focus on. The focus could be on you sometime, when your in need of guidance or some protection. Man ignors problems until they get a lot bigger. Don't blame God for man's problems. God is a good, and very moral God, And wants everyone to contribute positively, to making this world a better place. God wants us to work hard, and become strong spiritually. He did not make things for lazy people, but created a world that has endless challenges for those up to it. Too bad traditional religions, don't do a very good job, at producing these strong moral individuals, who could help solve more of the world's problems.

we may already live in a one god universe, that, we will never truely know. but most religions believe in the same idea of a God. however, some religions still believe in Gods of nature i.e. the sun God and so on, just like our ancestors did. but how's to say that they are right or wrong?

war, fear, sickness and death may not be his making, they may just be the absense of happiness, love, health and life. just like darkness could just be the absense of light.

or perhaps there is no God, perhaps we live in a world were luck and fate are just the consequences of what we do, think and say. but then we are unfortunate in the fact that we will never really know who or what is controlling us or if there is anything controlling us. but would we really want to know what it is or would that ruin us all?

If He can't do anything since the act of doing presupposes a position. How does he create fiction?

Well you didn't think we would all be here forever did you?
The world wouldn't be able to hold us all in it if nobody died.
There is a reason for everything, and it is beyond our knowledge why things happen the way they do. A lot of it seems very unfair, but we are not the Creator. We are here for a reason - to fulfill our purpose (whatever that may be), then leave.

No, but it is a very interesting question.

We can only understand God as a human concept. However, the words we know that have been used to describe him must be highly inadequate, as the Bible indicates his infinite nature. We can only hope to know a small bit of him, but this bit is enough because when we get to know it, he makes us happy by virtue of knowing it.

no, your assuming god is of only your mental capacity to reason, your argument or point is weak and based on "the self", your mind is trying too hard and you are enveloped into this reality and lack spirituality (the human condition) and you are trapped into materialism "the illusion",

If I was [G]od, and I lived like your description, I'd be one bored, depressed, cranky dude.

Maybe that's why the biblical god is so mean to people - he's miserable and lashing out at others.
