It might be possible if you know what you are doing. You might have to write some special code to accomplish it. I've certainly never heard of anybody doing it but that doesn't mean it can't be done. The problem may be that a DVD recorder wouldn't be able to read or write computer data fast enough to be practical or to write it in a way that the computer could access it very fast. But that's just opinion. Let's see if anybody else responds with more knowledge. Good question, though.

No. The USB port is to play DivX files etc on a USB hard disk surely? I think you're trying to use it the wrong way round...

It needs to have 'memory' storage space. If it has that then you have another drive.
