As long as they are both spayed or neutered, it really will depend more on Lucy than the sex of the other dog. We have had all sorts of combinations in the past, and the only real problem we ever had was 2 intact females who absolutely hated each other when they were in heat.

Hey ive had MANY chis in the past. Ive noticed that for some reason the females get along with both (as long as if you get another female its younger than them ) The dog that was there first needs to feel dominant. As for the males NONE of mine got along with other males only females. No I am not a breeder and i have never bred any of my chis. I just love the breed they are great dogs.one thing you can do is take your little one to the puppy store and make sure they et along before you actually purchase the dog. Good luck!!

Hopefully, she is spayed. Get a male. She will accept a male quicker than she will another female. Same sex households can create a problem.
Get the male neutered. Hopefully, she has been socialized with other dogs and will do very well.

As long as they are both neutered your little Chi won't care what gender her playmate is.

opposite sex tend to get along better than same sex. It sounds like she's pretty friendly tho and gets along well with other dogs. Search for one that has a personality that you think you both will like.

impossible to say. replace "chi" with "child", and you'll see why. different dogs, different personalities.

best thing you can do is bring your chi along to meet potential new dogs - that way you can make a decision based on their interaction.

I'm surprised you can say "sex" on Yahoo.
