Yes. I believe in God and I worship Him in any way that I want to and I don't think He will be unhappy with me. I'm worshiping Him, that's the point isn't it? If He knows it is about Him, what could the problem be? I thank Him and praise Him in many different ways too. I don't believe in just one proper way and that's it. He will know what is in your heart in all the ways you worship Him.

Worship is not some outward form or practice. Its not just raising your hands or saying things that others cannot understand or repeating words of worship to the Lord in adoration.
TRUE worship is in spirit. God is Spirit and He has made man with three parts. A spirit, soul ( mind, will, emotions) and a body with its 5 senses. Its this spirit that is the deepest part of a man that is made to match God who is Spirit. When a man or woman calls upon the Name of Jesus Christ and believe in their hearts that He is the Son of God who died for their redemption from Sin and Satan, and they receive such a wonderful Lord into them, it is then that this spirit in the person is regenerated. Once it was deadened and lost its function to contact and commune with God because of Sin's damage. But once we believe and receive the Lord, He enteres our spirit as a starting point in our being.
From there He teaches us how to live in our spirit, how to worship Him in spirit. How to walk and have our whole entire being IN spirit. IT is here in our spirit that we have three functions. The conscience is here, approving and disapproving and send up red flags in our being if we sin. The Lord lets us know through His Spirit that we should apply the Blood to our sin so that our fellowship with Him is not hampered. The next function is Fellowship. In this spirit of ours we have fellowship with God, it is here that we worship God and commune in sweetness with Him. The spirit also has the third function of having Intuition. This sense in our being that is a direct speaking from the Lord that sometimes even goes beyond logic or beyond things that are superficial.
So would God let you worship Him in spirit. Absolutely. Everything else outside of worshipping God in spirit and truthfulness is fake and not live giving and an act. This is the kind of worship that touches God and us deeply and it is carried out while we are cooking, working, cleaning, caring for our kids, being a wife husband or child. Its not a pose or a format.. but the true worship in spirit is our living:)

God can let anyone do anything they want. But what I suspect is that you are not too sure about it, hence the question. If my suspicions are correct, then you had better hope that He influences you. If my suspicions are incorrect, then what are you asking this question for?

If God isn't the only God in your life then he's not your God at all, or rather, you aren't his.
