It was unintentional. They met when Chuck was filming "Fist & Feet of Future Fury" in Europe in the 1970's. Nostradamus, then known as Micheal Day Nostre, was an extra on the set who made the unfortunate mistake of spilling hot coffee on Chucks new boots. The resulting round-house kick created a vortex that sent Micheal several centuries back in time, taking all of the film footage and crew with him. The only survivor was Chuck. When Micheal awoke in the 16th century, he had only fragments of his original memory and a passport that he could barely read. He spent the rest of his life cryptically writing down everything he could remember in an attempt to reconstruct his past and figure out who he really was. He took on the name Michel de Nostredame, french for "Micheal Day Nostre, damn, that hurt!"
