DEFINITELY! But you have to find a girl who is also old-fashioned. There's nothing sexier to me than a man who has honor, integrity, and who still treats his woman with class. Some men today just don't understand that.

I love it when guys have good manners, dress well and behave with class. Old fashioned to me means being a gentleman and knowing how to treat a woman. My idea of dressing well is more expensive clothes though, so I guess some guys would consider that "girly".

Honestly darryl, it's a mixed bag. I'd have to lean more towards no on this one. There isn't anything wrong with you, but women--truth be told, have grown very pretentious over the years. As men, we're far from flawless in our thought process, but women are even more overanalytical over who they date now (I can understand why because of all the psychos out there) but still they seem to lean more towards a*sholes. Not the image you allege to present per se, I mean more towards the backward hat wearing, Honda Civic driving Italians who stare down everyone, walk around without a care in the world (probably don't have one), have pudgy faces and wear construction boots everywhere they go.

My own attempts at witty cynicism aside, women will really surprise you with who they go for these days. Even the "nice ones". Then again, im not going to pretend to know your life story----even though when I post stuff similar to yours, people on this site tend to think they know mine more than me in the 27 years I've been through it.

No, although in practise girls love a good kind gentleman with manners grace and a well brought up air about him, the truth as we guys KNOW it is that a huge amount of women want to be with men who are a smidge away from neanderthals.
Risk is part of it but maybe control (or lack of) is there too!!

So you're using "old fashioned" as a synonym for "insecure, approval-seeking, homophobic clod."

Anybody who believes that there is any meaning whatever in the phrase "behave like real men" is kind of stupid, somewhat boorish, rather neanderthal, and extremely uncreative. Sure, some girls like that in a man.

Aww! Yes! Women still like that in a man! I'd rather have a manly guy then someone that is wimpy looking! Good luck!

Depends on the girl. Under 24-not usually, 24-30-yes or no, over 30-yes, over 35-only type they will talk to.

i can't speak for all ladies but it is definitely a huge turnoff when a guy is girly......A lady wants to feel protected by her man.......I'm not saying she sees herself as weak......she just wants him to pull out her chair and seat her first at dinner or open the door for her when they go somewhere. At the end of the day every girl wants a REAL MAN.
