no mean hateful responses from insecure people like 'the only solo rose'' who have to make fun of people to feel better about themselves. Youre older than i am and you have to come leave nasty responses on yahoo answers instead of answering the question like a grown adult. You have the rotted brain, not me.

The good news is that you are young enough to stop smoking now & if there is not too much damage done, your body has time to repair/heal itself. As for the pain, it could be something as simple as irritation or it could be something as bad as what you fear it is. Only your dr will be able to tell you. A chest x-ray is the first step. Please let this scare you into quitting. I am an RN & I smoked for a lot of yrs. I quit 17 yrs ago. I have not had bronchitis or pneumonia since. I had one or the other at least twice a yr. I was 37 when I quit & had smoked off & on since I was 16. Don't do that kind of damage to your lungs. I recently learned I have 84% capacity of my lungs. I am sure it is from smoking.

Stop smoking now and go see your Dr. Only he or she can diagnose you.
