Give the guy a huge break and dump him, then he will be free of a major pain in the neck....

sweetie, a simple hey we need to talk and saying you feel like you can't do this anymore will be completely effective. Don't resort to the chicken way out by texting him or msn or whatever other non verbal methods there are of dumping someone. It's the most disrespectful thing you could do. When you date someone and you develop strong feelings towards them and you suddenly get a text that says you've been dumped, Im pretty sure your first instinct will be to call. So either way you're going to have to talk to him, and the best way is in person. Do it during school, that way a distraction can come easily and you can walk away while he mulls over it. But don't think that is the last you'll have to talk about it. He's going to need closure most likely, so give it to him. It's the least you can do. Good luck.

break ups are hard as it is. dont make it any worse by telling him what u hate about him b4 dumping him. just tell him straight up that u dont feel happy in the relationship and u would like to be on ur own for a while now

Tell it to him straight, boy's can be just like girls in that sense, if they DID over hear you the chances are he knows by now. You need to be honest with him, wouldnt you want it the same the otherway round? There doesnt need to be a lengthy debate about it, just openly say ' I really dont feel comfortable being with you because i dont see it leading anywhere, i wasnt sure how to approach it because i still want to stay friends, i just dont think i want to be more than that.' He will respect you more for telling him direct rather than hearing it from his friends......

All you have to do is meet up with him wihout your frineds around and just say
'I m really sorry but our dating is not working for me any more. it is nothing you have done or that i have done it simply is not working -so I m calling it a day. I hope there will be no animosity and you sson find someone else. Goddbye' then walk away and refuse to be drwn into a discussion. If he starts going on just say 'I have said everything I am going tosay . Goodbye' and just keep repeating it. it is the mature approach to ending a relationship with someone.

If you are still at school then it should be no big thing to move on to another BF/GF . At that age most of us are still searching for the right partner and will not get it right first time .
You should always be open and honest with someone , as they will eventually appreciate you were honest with them .

You need to tell him straight, especially if one of his friends may have overheard you. Think about how you would feel if you heard someone say that about you. It's the only fair thing to do, and you'll feel better about yourself if you're straight with him than if you are shady.

I dont think you should tell him that you hate him that would be unnecessarily cruel but yes you should tell him straight to his face, without your friends or his friends around that the relationship isn't working for you and that it's the end of it.
Be a big girl.

Just be straight up with him. Be very nice about it too! You'll be able to respect yourself when all is said and done. Be 100% honest with your feelings, yet again very polite! Let him down easy! People hate to have their feelings hurt.
