Most of you lot either side of the fence no squat about the Bible.
An intelligent designer is logical. Things just happened is not.
Bible is never disproved or won't be as many scientists use the Bible to look back in history of events and people. The bible has a wealth of information of ancient civilisations, cultures and traditions.
Jesus Christ is real.
But too many people on either side know little about what they support or are against. If they supported the Bible they would know what it really teaches compared to the falsehoods that the clergy teach.
Most anti-Bible pro science don't know squat either of what they are knocking. Most never even looked at the Bible in any depth. They just go with the flow.
So please, don't claim you have the facts because likely 95% of you DON'T

Well actually christians haven't proved the existence of God either. Personally, I don't think it's so important that there is or isn't a God...but that you have something that makes you feel good about being a good person. Ultimately, the Bible is just a handbook for a nice way to live....be kind to you enemy, honor your parents, etc. Unfortunately, historically speaking, some things have gotten added that could be misinterpretted...like the fact that if you take Genisis word for word then you might think it's okay to inbreed and that snakes can talk and all animals on earth can fit in a single sea vessel.

They will say that they don't have to prove a negative. You are better off asking how else they can explain existence. Atheists are close minded morons. They either don't like their own life, so any thought that life was created bothers them, or else they aren't smart enough to comprehend the complexities of physics.. As opposed to agnostics who have a open mind.
Everyone uses faith. Every time you get in your car you are using blind faith that the brakes will work. All the science you quote is based on your faith in the results of experiments that you never performed. Every risk you take requires a measure of faith.
There is a big different between believing and having faith. Christianity teaches us that we don't have to believe just have faith. "Blessed are those who believe without having seen".

Your question is similar to the one about: Who came first God or man? Clearly God(s) and Goddesses are the contrivance of humanity. God(s) and Goddesses were around long before the Bible was written and were initially conceived to explain that which couldn't be explained by our nascent science. As science progressed there became less need for Gods and Goddesses so the field narrowed down the one all might God or Goddess.
As even more questions were answered the theologians got together with the ruling classes and said what's your biggest problem...Controlling the peasants...Religion than became a means of control (risk and reward system) and still is to this day. PEACE!

The Bible disproves itself with all its contradictions.
One can go from one Sunday Christian gathering to another and so-on and get a create variety of rather odd reasons to try to explain away those contradictions.
The Bible was not ``Inspired`` by God. The Bible is bits and pieces of manuscript put together and taken apart and abridged by clerics for hundreds of years.
You don`t need faith to live in truth and understanding.

What do you learn from faith? Faith is nothing more than an excuse to be lazy and think your way to solxe problems. Like I see a child playing wrestling, and the other p;erson just lays on top of him. So the first kid crys out. Do you think faith can win for that child who dont try?
Can you be more spicific on what faith really is. Or, are you just as shallow as blow-up pool?

they ask questions that most Christians can't answer, is it wrong when the bible tells you to keep testing the scriptures? I would investigate anything that the Church has to state since i have been led into believing lies blindly. i once believed that Michael The angel was Jesus Christ and god who reincarnated himself into a baby, that claimed to be the son of God begotten and the son of man by human form returned and was God again and talks to himself. so if all this is right where is Michael who should be the 4th person in the trinity?

I think a better question is...how can people ignore such feelings and emotions as love and hate which are irrational and illogical and cannot be explained using reason.
To me, the spirit is energy and God is love.
If we don't have souls, and are simply physical beings, then why do some of us care for others?
P.S. The Bible should not be taken literally...if you do this then you are missing the point.

How can anyone disprove god? lol. As soon as I come up with an experiment that might do so, you guys change his attributes.
U: God is love
Me: Well then what about...
U: No no no, god is a jealous god, and vengeful
Me: How can I possibly...
U: Turn the other cheek
Me: But...
U: An eye for an eye
Me: Oh forget it!

Nobody can disprove the FSM, either.
It matters not to me what others believe. As long as no religious rule is being force onto me, I don't care.
