Who has something like 8 simple assault and like 4 aggravated assault charges, & he just hit someone for saying the N***** word.

The guy is pressing charges and I'm worried about how long my friend will be in jail for because I said I'd help take care of his dog.

He's 27. They've been spread out over time. Those aren't even exact numbers, just estimates.

He was in the ARMY & graduated from the Police Academy, but he's a biker and a drinker.

He said that's the last time he ever hits someone because he broke the whole side of the guys face & he only hit him once.

I actually know someone who got charged because they smacked someone who called their kids "N." She got a long probationary term but never met with the PO and has now fled California, and lives in another state, where she cannot be extradited.

hitting someone for saying the n word is not a justifiable offense. it is against the law to use the n word but then it has been upheld in a recent court case "that blacks call blacks to each other and across the other side of the street the n word." so the racial epitaph is not applied equally as being so derrogatory except when used if you are not black which is itself discrimination.

if your friend is a biker and a drinker he is already probably well known by the police agency in town and the prosecutor. let him ride this alone and sober up.

while in jail or prison he can attend AA, NA and anger management. but if he is a biker i doubt his pride will allow this.

It depends on when the "charges" change to convictions, if they ever do. I spent no time in jail for a felony conviction for a weapons usage. But I got probation.

I knew a girl that got 20 years for 1st degree assault and armed criminal action though.

Sounds like someone on trial in Jena.

Did he get 12 assault charges in one night, or did he have a good lawyer to help spread them out? Your pal needs help.

Sounds like he will be doing some time no matter how "righteous" he thought he was acting. A judge seeing that he has so many priors, and is AGAIN in his court is gonna be P.O'ed!

Looking at a year and a half in my estimate.

He's gotta learn to keep his hands to his self.
