There are thousands of civilian jobs in the military. Search at:

There are all kinds but it is called civil service. And yes some are in combat zones. And yes they can get a job abroad. Its not the same as the military. And you don't get to carry a weapon unless you are a security guard.

not much outside of pmc like black-water other than that its FBI or CIA.

edit: if you want combat why not enlist??? The Military could always use an another intelligent in shape individual.

The military used to have civilians come on base to run the PX's and such, but i don't think they do it anymore due to security measures since 9/11.

Military officials say contractors cut costs while allowing troops to focus on fighting rather than on other tasks. Try KBR.

ok my family is heavly into the military so i gotta say civilion military fags with stars there not friken soldiers or even real men there scard babies
