I am sure the real problem is with human nature. Some people care so much about the outside that they don't see the inside of a person. And others tease people who are very sensative who take it too badly. I have seen movie stars who are not good looking (at all) but have really gone far. I am sure they must have been teased but moved on and became famous. You can't do much about human nature but I really believe people can overcome that by having close friends who they can talk to and go out with. Later on in life, looks fade and we all become ugly (you know wrinkled, blue veins, grey hair). Except for Dick Clark. But if they hang out with good people like maybe find a church group or something it hepls to overcome things like that.

Good looks is not everything. Looks also fade with time. God gave everyone gifts. Just because someone doesn't have looks does not mean they are useless or cannot serve some purpose.
You must also not forget beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
What is ugly to one person maybe beautiful to another.

God had nothing to do with it. A persons appearance is largely hereditary.
Besides, nobody is ugly it just that some are more beautiful than others.

God doesn't make people ugly - ugly is a perception, a personal opinion. Besides, people endure a lot more than cowlicks and pimples in life. Sometimes God gives us problems to test our faith. Other times, He allows Satan to enter our lives so that we may be strengthened. Still other times, bad things happen so that the glory of God can shine through them (like the blind man whom Jesus healed).

No one is ugly. Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder...! as such, every person who follows God's principles will say along with King David, "I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made." Psalm 139:verse 14

if ugly people are the first you choose to feel sorry for, then i think you have problems. there are far greater atrocities out there, like crack babies, kids without limbs, etc.
or maybe you feel better about yourself by distancing yourself from ugly people.
regardless of the reason, you have problems.

They may feel that they're ugly, but they need to know that they're beautiful to their Creator.
