Also, when do you add them? In the middle of when it cooks or in the beginning when it's frozen? I normally get frozen chicken from Trader Joe's, and it says to just cook it without defrosting first. I've been putting spices on but they never soak into the chicken at all and it is always dry tasting. Thanks!

Add at the beginning. Italian dressing, not the zesty flavor, the regular. Add about 1/2 a cup for every 2 pounds of chicken. Cover and bake at 350 F for about 1/2 hour, turn chicken and cover and bake for another 1/2 hour. If pieces are large or thick, fork should go in easily when pricked. Use the sauce for dipping or pour over potatoes for a nice kick, you can pour over cooked rice or pasta as well. Serve a green veggie, asparagus, green beans, broccoli, whatever.

Like Drake, I like to use Barbecue sauce at times. Other times I use sage and garlic in addition to the salt and pepper. Or sometimes I will use ginger and oregano, or lemon and various herbs mixed. I do try to defrost the chicken first so it will cook all the way through evenly without anything getting burned.

I have used marinades of soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce, mixed with barbecue sauce. But that's something I do if I have a lot of time.

I wouldn't put spices on a frozen chicken... wait till it unthaws while baking in the oven and then take it out, season the chicken and/or put barbecue sauce on it, and put it back in the oven for the duration of how many minutes you are cooking it.

I usually pour some Italian Dressing (the one with roasted red pepper is awesome) over the chicken and the cover the pan with foil. It comes out really great!

To keep your chicken moist when you bake it, wrap it in foil. First you'll want to season it up. I tend to use: chicken seasoning, ginger, garlic salt, and onion salt. Then you get out some foil, wrap it up and bake it. The foil keeps all the moisture in, so it cooks in it and it comes out awesome. Good luck.
