A few thousand people will die today, having had no expectation of it. They thought they'd die in 10 otr 20 years, or more.

Are you ready to meet your maker?

Does it concern you, or are you gonna wait till the last few weeks, if possible, as many do?

I fully intend to return to the universe from which I came, to have my body disintegrate over time into the vast cosmos from which I was born untold eons ago. It is my hope today, that my remains, whatever they might be, will contribute to the beauty of the universe in a time I cannot even fathom or imagine.

No, and I'm doubtful that I ever will be. I'm not concerned about meeting my maker, since I don't believe in all that. What I am concerned about is getting all my affairs in order for when that unknown day arrives. I mean like my will, a complete narrative about how our family finances are handled, a brief outline of my life for my children, etc.

I wasn't worried about it until you brought it up...I am saved,,but I have a lot of unfinished projects, I just can't go today...For one, I want to get that load of laundry done,,,DH would not know what to do if I left him with dirty clothes...And I really need to do a real through cleaning before I go...He doesn't know one end of a mop or broom from another. I would not want relatives walking around in my house the way it is today..I've been sick,,so things have piled up on me...

And I need to write down passwords, for my accounts so he will know. It would great if I could get at least a week's worth of cooked food in the freezer for him...I just can't go today...just too much to do...but if it happens,,,I am ready spiritually,,,,Praise the Lord..

The thought of dying is no problem because I know there is perfect peace there. The key in the here and now is to help others in any way. Then and only then are people content down here.

Are you ready to die in battle so u get to Valhalla?

Or are you going to wait until the last minute when u are too weak to hold a sword? And spend eternity locked out of Valhalla?

I have no idea whether God exists, though I tend to believe he/she/it does; and I do my best to live a good life.

If I die and there is a God who wanted me to believe a certain way, I would respectfully point out that he/she/it didn't exactly make it unambiguous, so why am I in trouble for getting it wrong?

Nope, I don't believe in one. So, in all honesty I have not prepared to meet one.
