I am not christian but I do believe those who are of the books of the Lord are protected by the books of Allah SWT. As for your answers I will do the best.
World Hunger is already a main issue as when those 30 years ago did, and 20 and so on. we have so many times man on a civilian stage pushed towards the feeding and suppling those less fortunate. In Islam its to start with one soul and being and then you can go 7 to the left and right of your homes. Then the community as a whole, then the enviorment around you and so on. If you don't have a foundation of anykind then how can you fix something else when you are not fixed to be begin with. The crisis lays there mainly in process and order. Khair inshAllah Amen
Illnesses can be self oppression or intervention from the beyond in past with what he did to our bodies and souls long in the strings of creation. The studies are beyond imagination the information is always been given Al hamdoullah

Muhammed was a messenger and prophet the final one, John and all prophets spoke of him or his natures to come with him. He was a peaceful man and he never hit anyone other than a gentle pat of acknologement. There is always misinterpitation beside you and beside those who where like you and as for the prophets. That is the case and always has been the case. The messengers where different there was some messengers that where prophets and messengers at the same time.
There is also messengers that where just sent to do whatever the Lord wishes. If we are to think the Lord created all this for us and also with our effort in goodness and patience with peace as intended then we would have surely been more advanced. The inventors are not always believers and believers are not always believers :)

What has the Holy Spirit told me? More than you will ever understand.
Now, on to your "issues" What has Islam done to eradicate these things you mention? The answer: NOTHING
These things you accuse the Holy Spirit of are things that man has done to himself.
If you were take a look, you would find that Christians do more to eliminate these problems than any other group - as a whole.

The answers to all of the world's problems are in the Bible. "Love one another", "Do not murder," "Do not steal, or covet", "Treat your body as a temple"and the list goes on. It seems like the more we push God out of everything the worse it all gets.
