I am 41. I am 215 pounds (95 kgs) and a vegetarian. I have recently (3 weeks) reduced my diet, moving more towards fruits. I play tennis for an hour twice a week. I do some Yoga in the mornings. My eyes are heavy and I can hardly concentrate. I am sleeping almost 10 hours during the night.

I have been to the doctor. The doctor has taken my blood to check Vitamin B-complex and iron.

There have been no remedies. What should I do?

Do you have any protien in your diet?? All these fruits may spike your sugar throughout the day to keep you going, but the tennis takes muscle and lots of energy to move your body around. At night, you 'crash'. Natural sugar is sugar, just the same and will bring you up, and crash you down. Not as fast as refined sugar.

do you take supplements? If you dont, you should start. And you should see a nutritionist, not a plain ol' Dr...they have WAY more knowledge than an Ear, Nose & throat Dr.

I would start my checking the fat content in your diet. a lot of female vegetarians follow a low fat diet which is counter productive to the health in general. a low fat diet being where less than 20% of the daily calories are derived from healthy fats. this causes a marked decrease in testosterone production which causes a decrease in energy levels, metabolic rate, sex drive, mental focus and many other conditions.

You mad have SAD syndrome, a syndrome which affects many people in the winter months due to the increased lack of sunlight. I, for one, have it. The symtoms include; Lethargy, sleeping a lot, eating more than usual, feeling depressed etc.

There are sun lamps you can buy from specilist sites just search SAD lamps on google:)
hope this helps

I would think your diet has everything to do with your feeling. I believe your body just isn't getting the right nutrients. You need to take vitamins and eat some protein these will help. There was a woman on the news who made her daughter eat a vegetarian diet and the child died from malnutrition. I believe your eating habits are totally to blame.

Your blood sugar may be off from the sugar in the fruit. It could be causing it to go real high and crash down.
Try to eat a balanced diet, its better for you.Eat whole grains and veggies more and not too much fruit.
