I exersice but that still won't help me kick the habit, infact when I exersice I feel like I've earned it and I eat it worse...

By the By, I eat lots of fruit (apples with peanut butter is my favorite snack) I just eat sugar in additon... I don't want to eat more fruit, my craving really won't be satisfied as I'm not really hungry when I eat sugar in the first place. And fruit is not as easy to pack to work as a convient candy bar that doesn't go back in 2 weeks.

Yes, quit cold turkey!!!
Like you said, sugar is actually addictive. The more you eat, the more you'll want to eat. Cutting sugar out of your diet, is the best thing you can do for yourself.
You don't have to do it forever. You can still enjoy sweets sometimes. If you start thinking you'll never be able to eat a chocolate bar again, you'll be so discouraged, and you'll probably run out and get one.
Do it for two weeks to a months the first time. Just to detoxify your system. Get lots of fruit at home. Bananas are a great snack. They're sweet and filling, and they're the next best thing to a candy bar. So every time you feel like having a sweet, have a piece of fruit, and remember how you're becoming healthier by the day.
Once you get through the first few days, it'll get much easier.
Then you can go ahead and have some sweets once or twice a week. Even then though, it would be a good idea to have snacks with brown sugar, honey, or molasses instead of white sugar.

But remember, it's really important not to have any sweets at home. It'll be really hard to say no when you have those cravings. Also really important, to have lots of healthy alternatives, like fruit.

Good for you for making this decision. Good luck with it!

I dont think that quitting cold turkey will solve the problem, what you need to do, is curb your sweet tooth. I would try eating fruit when I have a sweet craving. Fruit is sweet, but has natural sugars and is better for you.

When you supply your body with sugar, your body craves sugar, so the less you eat sugar, the less you will crave it. Soon, you will be eating very little to no sugar.

Cut back--feel guilty any time you eat sugar.

One half teaspoon of Cinnamon, per day, will help control the amount of sugar in the blood.

After awhile some things will start to taste too sweet.

Give it up, you will feel much better. There are many alteratives out there, find the one you like the best. I have not had sugar for over 10yrs now. I am diabetic and do take great care in my diet. You can too, just do it, and good luck.

Try eating an apple. Because apples are filled with sugar but it is the natural kind that is good for you, also they are fiberlicious.

Start looking for natural sugars for your "high". Fruits are full of them. Or start choking down some splenda!
