every Halloween we have a family get together with a few friends and we all bring yummy body parts.... you know something different like fried chicken gizzards, tongue, kidney pie, chicken legs, wings, ribs, and the dessert table is loaded with pies, cookies and cakes that are decorated in Halloween fashion.
Happy Halloween everyone !

Well we are doing a pot luck kinda thing with our neighbors so far I am making home made chilie (yumm with shredded cheese), my awesome cornbread to go with it and pumpkin cheesecake. My neighbor is making a mummy calzone, loaded nachos, hot dogs for the kiddos, our other friend is making a lovely spinage dip with chips!! There is some other stuff too but I don't know what else everyone else is going to bring!

Finger foods from M&S. Sausage rolls, mini pizzas, sandwiches (cut into triangles), nachos (bit weird I know), chicken peices, crisps, all washed down with a beer and Salems Lot.

Fried chicken wings with red beans and rice. Translated into language adequate for Halloween:

Fried Bats, with beetle gravy and maggots.

My daughter is looking forward to it.

Just so you know.. I live in the country and we don't get trick or treaters..

Anyway, I'm going to have a quiet evening. I'm planning on curling up with pizza, halloween candy, and a good murder mystery or thriller. Nothing supernatural.. maybe a good non-gory serial killer story or murder mystery... (I don't like gory, but I like murder mysteries.)

Ham + chicken Hotpot.
Not because it's Halloween, just because I have things to use up in the fridge.

My boyfriend has to work all night and I'll be alone, so probably a toasted bagel and 2 fried eggs. I love cooking breakfast for dinner!
