It sounds like your "prophetic" dreams are things you can control. Your dreams are probably reflecting your desires (conscious or not) to have your life a certain way, and showing you how it will turn out if you follow your heart. They are not telling you "this is what's going to happen"...they are saying "this is what it will be like if you do a, b, and c to get there". So...you dreamed that you got the job at JC Penny...you liked what you saw in the dream, and you chose to apply for the job. You wouldn't have gotten the job if you hadn't applied for it, right? So, it wasn't prophetic - it was your choice. Your dream just helped to convince you that you are right to follow that path. And it sounds like the most recent one is telling you that you should plan a trip with your mom and boyfriend to your dad's old farm.

Dreams are reflection of deep thoughts which when focused may come true, as it seems in your case finding a job at jcpenny! One shouldn't attach too much importance to the dreams one may have which depends on how tired one is before going to bed! So just relax and enjoy your life!

You probably have a prophetic gifting in you that needs to be utilized. I have often had dreams that spoke of the things that were going to happen that day or week (they did come to pass). And yet others cover the scope of years. So you probably have the same thing.
