I am a bit worried that she will get involved in something harmful. She doesn't know that I know. Should I just pretend that I don't know, or is it my duty to warn her? And if so, how can I do this tactfully.
[Please note I have nothing against gay people, I am just aware that homosexual practices lead to a lot of unhappiness and I don't want to see my friend get hurt.]

Of course! I will support her whatever she does. If she faces opposition, it will not be from me; but I'm hoping that she doesn't have to face opposition at all.

I would warn her. If she stays celibate, she won't be in sin.

There will b a lot of people saying that they or sum1 they know r gay and they're extremely happy.

I really done understand your question. What do u want 2 warn her about? That she is a lesbian. I guess she already knows that...unless she is doing it in her sleep.
Even normal hetereosexual relationships couples lead to a lot of unhappiness as u can judge by the amount of divorces these days. What your friend does in her private life is her business. How old is this friend anyway?

Catholicism and homosexuality are relatively congruent.

I think she should become a nun, then she will have that exclusive female environment she craves, safe in the knowledge she is also surrounded by catholics.

makes sense huh! Whatever she does , theres always confession and apparently Jesus died for everyones sins, so tell her that there is no contradiction in her position.

If however she wishes to be pious and serve God, she should consider seeking another path on all counts.

She is a lesbian because that is how she was born there is nothing she can do about that. If she is catholic then she can go by their outmoded and silly rules and simply abstain from sex. But if she persists holding on to her beliefs in the catholic teaching and indulges in quite harmless homosexual activities then she is going to cause herself some inner grief. Best forget she is a catholic and get on with enjoying her life.

This is interesting passage out of some old forgotten book, as people heap to themselves self righteousness ideals to live by, and tell everyone how politically correct them are. Sure stinks here!

I think your friend is stupid. I am an Atheist and can not even begin to comprehend a homosexual catholic. Obviously god hates gay people that's why he destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah I just don't understand what they are thinking. She should just ditch the religion and live happily.

shes not getting into satanic things like sacrificing small children shes just a catholic ! im sure she knows what shes doing so what if shes a lesbian that dosent make her a bad person or somebody who cant be a catholic its just a religion just support her thats what friends do

all relationships, staright or gay can sometimes be hurtful. You dont want your friend to hide who she is do you? dont judge cos she will need you more than ever at the moment. try to talk to her bout it, she might need a bit of support in order to 'come out'
