It is everything worthless about these fairy Tales if not believed by kids.
The fairy tales make children enjoy and engaged in happy thoughts in the direction of the story. They imagine themselves with the story and thus they get lots of inspiration too.
If they do not believe these fairy tales at that age, we will not have any material to be taught at that level, and it becomes very difficult to manage them, intellectuallty.

A rather drab one.

I have no problem with kids believing fairy tales, they are often good stories with a tale of how life should be.

However, I expect the kids to grow up and live in the real world and not expect the magic war pixie to come save them when they get themselves into a problem.

you can appreciate a fairy tale without taking it as cold, hard fact.

we'd have a world of grown-ups who didn't believe in fairy tales and that would be something.

Fairy Tales were (and still are) a teaching tool, they are not bound by our reality, so the imagination soars!
