I visited the Twin Towers ten or so years ago. I was very young and vaguely remember a donut shop at the base of the towers, although how close it was to them I cannot say; all I remember is that it formed the ground floor of a bigger building and was within a very short walk of the plaza between the two towers.

I know this is vague, but would anyone know if the place is still there? I don't know how close it was to the towers exactly so it might be gone, but I met someone very important to me outside there and I'd like to take her back!

If I recall correctly I remember facing the plaza and the shop at the front, at about 1-2 o'clock (?!)

Your memory serves you. But there were many donut and coffee shops. Several thousand people worked at the building and in the area as well.

The building is still there but the donut shop is closed.
