I'm the same way. I have bruises on my legs all the time and have no idea how they got there.

It's called being "present" (or not) within your surroundings.

I think about things all the time and a lot of the time I'm not really paying attention to what I'm doing - kind of like being a robot where I am because my mind is somewhere else.

It takes a lot of practice to focus on where you are and what you're doing without getting distracted by your mind. Most people learn to get good at it through regular meditation.

One way to keep from getting hurt is to slow down a little bit. I find that I get hurt a lot more frequently when I'm rushing.

And then...?

Just kidding pretty girl..
I have that same problem, maybe not as severe... but if you are exposed to those kids of things, you need to be a bit more careful, it's not cute to cut yourself with a hanger, that hurts and can be dangerous... Just pay more attention to where you are going and what you are handling

You're not accident prone, you just had a little run of bad luck. Wait a week and see if this streak passes. My guess is that you'll see this was just a coincidence, and thus, not your fault.

Lol. It's good to know I'm not the only one. Things like that usually happen to me when I'm so preoccupied with other things. Sorry I can't offer any useful advice, since I'm still very very accident prone.

Sounds more like an issue of not paying attention to things! You just focus on one thing and go right after it and all the little things. More like "a bull in a china closet" is what my mom always called me cause I am the same way! Not giving people time to fully answer before giving them a thumbs down is a bad habit to!!!.

You just need to calm down. Accidents happen more when you're frazzled.
