I mean the piercings. I have a job interview at a nice restaurant (The Breakers in West Palm Beach) and I have snakebites (where you have your bottom lip pierced on both sides), I have them guaged to a 14 so even if I take the rings out the holes are still kinda noticeable. I really want this job, so how can I cover them up?

PS- a 14 is about the width of a pencil lead

They are almost a year old, I don't want them to close permanently, just less noticeable for the interview. After, if I get the job, I can wear them at work

If I get the job I will be able to wear them while at work! I just want them concealed for the interview!

you can get retainers

the best are quartz glass and monofilament

Both refract light so they actually camouflage your piercings MORE than just clear plastic they are a bit pricey-er but well worth it

Well, i assume that if you wan the job, you will not wear the piercings anymore right? well my advice is to let the holes close up and just play it off as if you had an allergic reaction or some kind of insect bite. You might want to reschedule the interview till the holes close up. I do not think that you will be able to wear them while on the job anyway so just take them off for good. Or at least till you land another job. If the interview is really soon then just try to cover it up with a bit of make up.

Since it's only for an interview and you've had them almost a year, just taking them out should be ok. I've always been pretty paranoid, so when I want my labret less noticeable, I wear a retainer-specifically quartz glass. If you have time to order it, that's the best material (try glasswearstudios.com, and get extra o-rings!). But since they're healed, if you don't have time to wait, you'd be ok with the plastic ones for a short amount of time. They're not going to disappear. In fact, they'll probably be a little more noticeable with a retainer than if you can wear nothing in them. But I'm paranoid about how quickly they could close over, so I always wear a retainer. Guys are lucky- you could just grow a quick nicely trimmed goatee and wear a retainer and no one would ever know. Being female, I can't cover it up with hair, so I have to settle for a retainer. However, after 3 years of family holidays, my grandmother and extended family haven't caught on! And my grandmother only wears reading glasses, so she should've noticed by now!
Side note, I had a friend who worked in the kitchen with me in the same situation, before piercings were as accepted as they are now, and he had to wear one of the beard nets (hair net material made to fit your chin) whenever he went where any customers could see him! It was really funny!

Just don't wear anything. If it is a fairly recent piercing the holes can eventually gets smaller over time,,,

Other than plastic surgery I don't see any other solution for your case,,,sorry

Edit:- mix some flour with water (just a bit) & stuff up the hole. Then apply makeup to cover it up...should last a few hours,,Best of luck

being that they're holes in your face, and larger ones than standard - i'd say it'd be near impossible. i'd imagine all you can do is take them out (replace the jewellery with retainers if possible) and cross your fingers... can't really wear plasters over your lips!
