for immigration!!! The bond is only $100 but even though that is paid he will not get realeased. Is there any hope that the person will be released while waiting for the removal proceedings?

yes you could pay an additional fee to have him released while he is in removal proceedings. You can probably ask the bail bondsmen and he should know how to go about this.
I have seen it done before however the bond will probably be much higher than the $100. dollars. When in removal proceedings they usually give the individual the opportunity to go to court or they can waive their rights and just be deported. If they sign I think they are automatically ineligible to enter the US for several years.

No, a hold means that if he is released, ICE is starting deportation proceedings. Legal immigrants don't get deported for a suspended license, alone, so that part must be because he is illegally here.

Immigration is the person here illegally? That could be the reason.

No, they don't release illegals who are awaiting removal proceedings. Somehow those lowlife's tend to vanish.

i do not think they will let him out ,he should not have been driving on a suspended license anyway.

they are holding him for deportation, he will not be released.
