Why do men think it is okay sometimes to have more than one woman?

Here are some possible explanations, think about them before you reject or you choose one:
a) evolutionary psychology: Males are built to mate with more females. They produce milions of sex-cells so thay can mate many times in order to assure their gene continuation. Whereas females, are built to hold on tight to only one male, the best male (or alpha-male), in order to make sure she gets the best resources (food and protection) for her kids. Men are, therefore, afraid to get married, because they will be constrained to mate with only one woman, meaning their gene continuation will depend entirely on her. In short, they need more women because nature built them that way.
b) social psychology: not all men need more than one woman, it depend on the group in which he is, or in which he grew up. If his friends are very cool and always spread stories about having sex with douzins of girls at a time, he will be constrained by this social pressure to act like they say. If he doesn't have sex with more women, he would risk to be rejected.
c) psychoanalysis: not all men need to have more than one woman. Some men can't transform their sexual impuses into other related activities (like falling in love, writing love poems, drawing nude art etc.) and so they remain very immature and demand more women, more sex.
d) learning psychology: not all men need to have more than one woman. Some men learned, even unconsciously, that they are more rewarded if they have more women. For example, he could get more attention from his friends, more respect, more smiles, more sex, more popularity etc. Whereas form a previous relationship he might have been pusished for staying with only one woman, for example, he was betraied, or rejected from his group of friends etc.

i really wish you would have put the word some in front of the word men not all men think that way and to answer some men don't feel like the 1 woman is the right woman for them so they keep looking without breaking up with the first woman before they find the second woman and then some women don't care as long as they have that man so that man does as he pleases like i said not all men are this way

Because that is what their elongated brain tells them. Not all guys let that control their thinking. Those that do are not in love with the first woman and possibly not in love with the other either, they are reaching out in confusion for some satisfaction because their first relationship is not working for them, but instead of working to improve the problems or breaking it up, they go through the motions to maintain the services it provides (sex, cooking, cleaning, childraising) and go outside the relationship for dating and sex, as they would have done if they had broken the first relationship and are starting over in a new relationship.

It's not only men, actually. Women have been known to cheat or have multiple husbands as well. But people don't think it's okay - sometimes they just don't bother to mark it as something wrong, and ignore their coscience about it, or any other remarks people make about it, becauses what they desire seems more important to them than what is morally right.

Because we're only about 100,000 years out of the bush. Men were built to take as many mates as possible in order to spread his offspring around. Being with only one women goes against 15 billion years of evolution. In other words, we can't help ourselves. It's in our genetic code to run off and hump as many women as possible. Sad, but true.

Its not are faults monogomy is not natural. There are to many gorgous women to limit ouselfs. Also once we get married all the fun stops so we start looking for some fun. If women never changed we would be faithful because are needs would be fufilled. Also once your married the endless nagging starts.
Its so fun and refresing to find another women who will be nice and sweet to you. Were just looking for what were not getting. Really it the womens fault for not satisfiying us.
