The bible doesn't stop a great Christian like George Bush from going to war.

No. I have enough common sense to know that in order to risk arrest and punishment I'll have to do a whole lot better than a 7/11 to make it worthwile. A Swiss bank or something like that. I also have enough common sense to know that that is out of my reach, so I won't steal. I also believe killing is wrong.

No! we are all born with the knowledge on good and evil written on our hearts. We instinctively know it is wrong to murder and rob. But on the other hand we are told that the Word of God (Bible) is quick and powerful and sharper than any two edged sword so I suppose it could be used as a weapon if you were that way inclined!

Technically no. God's will is actually part of our nature. Sin, however, has distanced us from that so there are certain areas where we need reminders and/or explanations. The things that you mention are obviously wrong to most people so I don't think they need the bible to tell them that it's wrong.
That being said, the bible still teaches us many profound truths. Also, I think you have to keep in mind that the primary message of the bible is one of freedom and forgiveness, not to tell us everything we can and can't do.

No!
People Just need to learn to have peace for their fellow man no book can teach you that. Provide a guide line but that is something you must strive for.
Just because someone reads the Bible doesn't make them any less of a scum bag then someone who doesn't!
If you a filthy person your a filthy person.

In an evolutionary sense, however, doing whatever it took to supply for myself and my family would be of paramount importance; particularly if the clerk were not part of my "tribe."

Atheists have a lower crime rate than Christians, so no Bible is needed. Morality is a common sense thing, and religions isn't needed to realize its benefits.

By that logic, the next line should then be: "Do you need murder to be illegal for you to not do it?"
The answer is no, even if murder was legal I wouldn't do it.
Now, does this mean that murder should be legal? Nope.
The statement is as pointless as your post. Just because you don't need to Bible for your moral basis doesn't mean that the Bible is wrong, useless, or not needed.
