I'm going to nyc today, does anyone know what train I can catch to get to the Brooklyn bridge on the Brooklyn side leaving from grand central? Thanks in advance.

however you get to the A train, get off at High Street.

walk in the opposite direction of the train you were just on to the back end of the platform and get out there.

walk eastward across Cadman Plaza Park to Cadman Plaza East.

turn left and walk downhill, which eventually becomes Washington Street.

when you get to the first overpass that will be the Brooklyn Bridge, and there will be stairs to your left which takes you up to the walkway and back to Manhattan.

alternatively you can find your way to the Brooklyn Bridge via the 2&3 trains at Clark Street - Brooklyn Heights and the F train at York Street, but they are a little farther away.

I believe the R or the N trains will get you there. I know when I take the R or the N it will take you right by the Brooklyn Bridge. When you go into the subway ask the man or woman that is behind the glass they are there to assist you. Hope this helps! Good luck.

The #4,5,6 trains will get you the closest on the Manhattan side, followed by the N & R (which leave you on the other side of City Hall Park).

On the Brooklyn side, it would have to be the A train @ Jay Street. Everything else is going to be @ the Dekalb Avenue Station.
