I had whiplash last year, and I had an exam to write, so I just went to my campus health centre. I was treated by a physio student who didn't really know what she was doing, and was really sore afterwards. Whenever I get stressed the whiplash flares up again: the whole right side of my neck is stiff, and my neck vertebrae click when I stretch.
The stiff neck must be some kind of muscle damage, so I'd imagine a physio is better for that. I also had very good treatment for whiplash from a physio once before. But the clicking gives me the idea that one of the vertebrae is still a bit out of place. Also, it's a whole year after the accident. Does that mean I need to see a chiropractor instead?
Medical insurance will pay for either, so all I want to know is who is more qualified to deal with this.
