No machine gun, That would stop traffic, How about 10 gallons of acid dumped on them. that way they would be away from the interscetion before they and their car melted.

Well, as the old saying goes, "Let him who is without sin cast the first stone."
I think everyone has been guilty of this at one time or another, or will in the future. Sometimes there is just not enough time to stop, sometimes it is safer to drive through the light then slide into the middle of the intersection in a cloud of smoke, sometimes there are distractions and they don't see it go yellow until it is too late to stop, and sometimes they don't even know it's red until they are getting honked at.
Personally, I watch and look before I take off when a light turns green. I have gotten honked at before for not slamming on the gas the same split second the light turns green, but I don't really care, because they'll be the one's in the hospital for gassing out in front of the red light runner.
Just be careful out there and look before you leap, and remember: We are ALL human, and we're supposed to make mistakes.

Slightly drastic, maybe we should just do without traffic lights.
Our town centre runs much better when the main traffic lights in the centre go down.

So, which is more dangerous to people? Drivers who run red lights, or maching gun fire zipping up and down the street?
