We know He certainly was dead. You obviously affirm the historicity of the life of Jesus Christ. Something some of your responders fail to see by looking at the historical evidence in biblical and nonbiblical literature. We know that the disciples (eyewitnesses) were despondant when they saw their Master was dead and were going to move on with their lives. They weren't really looking for a resurrection either. But something happened which changed their mind. They actually saw Jesus risen from the dead. Along with many others. All the Jews and Gentiles had to do was produce the dead body of Jesus and it would have squelched Christianity forever. It would have never gotten off the ground. But they could not. Why? Because the tomb was empty. He had risen. Why? so that people who trust in His death and resurrection for their sins can be saved. I don't see the problem in that. Now, His people can not only "move on" but " move up."

Depends on who you ask. Most nonbelievers knows there is a God out there somewhere, but does not know Him personally. Why do you not at least believe that?

I know He is alive! He saved my unworthy soul from hell. Gave me a life of peace and joy!

He died on an old rugged cross for you and me, and everyone else; but, He did not stay dead. He came out of that ole tomb! Because He is Eternal, he will never die. He couldn't be my Savior if He could die. Gee, He would be human, which He is not! He now sits at the right hand of the Father praying for His children, also trying to get those who do not believe on Him to come to Him for salvation. He is offering a free gift of eternal life. A Christian can depend on that even after this old body is put in the ground. A Christian's soul lives on with God, instead of burning in hell like an nonbeliever.

Will you accept His free gift? He is waiting on your reply. I would really think on this before I made my final decision. Your life depends on it.

I wouldn't know cos i dont believe but apparently christianity may be a copy of a roman religion anyway
and does anyone else hate it when all these people say you'll go to hell cos you believe different - surely if all that stuff was real you would get credit for trying to be a nice person?

Ooooh! Provocative. Jesus is actually buried in a small town on the West Coast of Scotland. People will find out the truth one day!

So is God!

" God is dead. God remains dead. And we have killed him. How shall we comfort ourselves, the murderers of all murderers? What was holiest and mightiest of all that the world has yet owned has bled to death under our knives: who will wipe this blood off us? What water is there for us to clean ourselves? What festivals of atonement, what sacred games shall we have to invent? Is not the greatness of this deed too great for us? Must we ourselves not become gods simply to appear worthy of it?"

To the contrary, lost lamb. Jesus is very much alive as witnessed by hundreds of people after His resurrection, and He did really exist as proven by writings of antiquity infinitely more reliable than any writings supporting the existence of Plato, Socrates and other writers of antiquity.

If he isn't, then he's over 2000 years old - and that's an awful lot of old age pension he's entitled to.

this is just sad and childish and mean-spirited. It is just detestable the way folks post things like this on the internet that they would never say to someone's face. Very immature...

So, what are you, about ten? Maybe 12????

This is why those of us who are Christians really feel the resentment and ridicule from those who don't share our faith. We try to spread the good news of Christ's love for everyone, and then someone like you spreads around some manure like this. You sincerely need to grow up.
