I will be there 12/20/07-12/23/07, how cold will it be? What do I need to see? I like to party so what hip hop clubs are jumping? Where not to go?

Dont rent a car because the parking is outrageous (20 dollars for one hour). Take the subway.
If you go in your own car find a place out of town to park it and then walk or take a taxi into town otherwise you will pay large fees.
Erm its going to be very cold there. Make sure you wear a thick coat, gloves, scarf, hat, and nice log pants. If you have long underwear wear them. It will be very cold. Lots of snow.

You sould deff bring some warm clothes it will be cold. There are so many great things to see.....what you get to see does really depend on your budget. You sould be sure to see Central Park....it is beautiful in the winter and doesn't cost. Rockefeller Center and the Christmas Tree, maybe you could get on Good Morning America....if you get up early enough. LoL. Of Course the Lady Liberty, and try to see a Broadway Show (Even if it's not your thing.....it's an experience not many get to have and I'm sure you will enjoy). There are so many great clubs to go to but one my husband and I like is the Laugh Fatory....great comedy and good drinks. If in doubt ask some of the locals. Don't miss out on eating REAL New York pizza and get a New York hot dog from a vender. They're the best! :-) DON'T take a taxi if you don't have a lot of cashflow (Try not to carry to much cash at a time--ATMs), take the subway at lease once to experience it and you probibily don't want to go to Brooklyn unless you have someone with you who knows where they are going. All in All just be smart about what you do, don't fret or fear....NYC is a great place....Have A Blast!!!

Go to 7days7nights to check out clubs. dont believe the crap about NY being scary and dangerous. Take the subway to get around, and skip as many tourist attractions as you can, they suck and everyone hates annoying tourist stopping the flow of traffic (foot traffic) because they want a stupid picture of a tall building. Bring as much money as you can. New York is expensive and you dont want to be too limited, especially if you will be going to clubs.
