is it possible to make fat-free pancakes with the normal pancake mix but instead of using whole milk, oil and an egg, use fat-free milk, an egg-white, and no oil?

help!
thanks

I like mixing up the egg white to stiff peaks and then putting it into the batter, makes interesting pancakes that way.

Or waffles.

I like real butter on them though and gobs of mrs butterworths syrup :D

Don't be fooled by all the fat free labels you see. I could just gag when I see candy made with sugar labelled as fat-free. Sugar turns into carbohydrates which if unused by the body, turns into fat. Anything with sugar in it has the potential to make you fat; it all depends on how much exercise you get as well. The fat-free label is just another ploy to get people to buy a product that will benefit the company that makes it.

Yes, add fat free milk or soy milk. Or just buy Bisquik fat free pancake mix.

Yes, My daughter has to have a special diet and that is how we have to make her pancakes. We also throw in frozen fruit/berries/raisins/prunes in the batter.
