Caffeine is an alkaloid obtained from the dried leaves of tea, or the dried seeds of coffee; used as a central nervous system stimulant, diuretic, circulatory and respiratory stimulant, and also in the treatment of headaches.
As it is a central nervous system stimulant, it wards off drowsiness and restores alertness. And there is also a phychological effect which makes you feel better when you drink coffee. So you get happy and excited!!!
An antidepressant, on the other hand is a medication used for alleviating 'clinical depression'. Although "depression" is commonly used to describe a state when one "feels blue", 'clinical depression' is a serious illness that affects a person's work, family and school life, sleeping and eating habits, general health and ability to enjoy life.

No, in humans, caffeine is a central nervous system (CNS) stimulant, having the effect of temporarily warding off drowsiness and restoring alertness. Beverages containing caffeine, such as coffee, tea, soft drinks and energy drinks enjoy great popularity; caffeine is the world's most widely consumed psychoactive substance, but unlike most other psychoactive substances, it is legal and unregulated in nearly all jurisdictions.

No, although it is a proven central nervous system stimulant, that does not equate to "antidepressant". You're confused as to the proper definition of "antidepressant".
