I have to set a side a time then stick to it like glue. If I don't just stop whatever I'm doing and GO PRAY in quiet, it never gets done.

I have the same struggle with going to the gym. I love both praying and going to the gym, but for some reason I hate taking time to do them. Weird, huh?

Which Lord?

There is the House of Lords in England.
There is the concept of Lord and Lady in many Pagan faiths.
There is the use of the term "Lord" to refer to those of higher status.
There is the Christian use of the world "Lord" as it applies to God.

I suppose that as you mentioned "praying", and as you capitalized each letter of the word "lord", that you are speaking in a religious sense. Still the word "pray" only means "to ask".

In any case, speaking in a religious sense (or so it would appear), I'll ask the next question which is "Which religion" and this begs the follow-on, which Lord.

My own faith refers to the Lord and Lady, representing the Goddess and her consort. The Goddess and the God.

Absolutely, I have time for deity, especially on this, my faith's most special of days.

My wife and I pray after going to bed/before going to sleep. It works for us.
The Bible talks alot about praying and seeking God early in the morning - I know many people that do.
I listen to a favorite pastor who is on the radio during mt drive to work, and listen to praise music most of the time I drive.
And, of course, pray without ceasing - which for me are those "arrow prayers" prayed throughout the day.

Prayer is best in little spontaneous bursts, I find. It's pleasant to sit and meditate about God for a time, but I think if the essence of your prayer is a request or a thankyou, a simple thought will suffice.

Yes I set aside time every day. My flesh sure doesn't want me too, but Praise God he has given me strength to do so.

even though we are supposed to tithe 10% that doesn't mean just tithe, uh meaning 10% of your time is devoted to God. Do you do that? Do you give that much time to God?
