Jehovah's Witnesses understand the bible to be the only inspired infallible means of knowing God's will and purposes. They never pretend that bible study aids are more important than the bible itself.
Each congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses schedules five congregation meetings each week, typically at its Kingdom Hall. Two of those five meetings consider a bible-based lesson from The Watchtower or another publication, but the other three meetings are bible-based talks presented by congregation members. Speakers MUST use the BIBLE as the foundation of their talks, but it is true that speakers may include reference material from any responsible source (including The Watchtower, of course).
Jehovah's Witnesses unceasingly admonish their adherents to read, study, and meditate on the bible itself at their own homes with their own families. The Witnesses have long cited three INDISPENSABLE actions by true Christians:
1. Pray
2. Read bible
3. Preach
Those who attend the meetings of Jehovah's Witnesses will likely note that nearly everyone (adult and child) can comfortably and quickly locate each referenced Scripture during the talk. Other bible-study aids may be used by the audience during the meetings, but never even approaching the ubiquity of the bible among Jehovah's Witnesses.

It says in the Bible that you do not need four walls and a roof in order to worship... Turn over a stone, God is there...Yes many people put an importance on the church...but staying home and reading your bible or even watch a televised church broadcast is suffice.

I don't think it's necessary, but for some, it's a good idea.
Paul told the first Christians to gather together, but that was before Christianity was split into a zillion different sects.
Jesus said when he comes back, he'll have the angels pick out the wheat that is mixed in with the weeds - in other words, those who are His won't all be gathered neatly into one religion or church - he'll judge them individually, reading their hearts. So I don't really think it's necessary.

I believe you need to find a really good Bible based church, possible attend Bible Studies in someones home or even yours. Its good to meet and mix with Christians, in order to grow as a Christian. Stay in your word, though that is a must. God Bless You, stay strong in the Lord.

I'm very dedicated to god and Ive never been to church and feel no calling to do so. Doesn't the bible say you can do your praying and worshiping away from the eyes of others so that anything you say is between you and god?

You know what, thanks for airing what you feel about going to church nowadays. Gone were the times when.... well, I just hope liturgists will put things right. There is nothing solemn anymore because Liturgies have become too secularized and sad to say, commercialized. Indeed, I do prefer to pray in solitude at home and listen to God in silence.

Hebrews 10:25-Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves with one another.
That is a command not a suggestion
Tithes and offerrings are good if it is used for the right reason.

Religion is big business, so of course they want you to go to church and pass on your money, but if there were any truth to any of it then it shouldn't make a scrap of difference how or where you worship your god.

If you read your Bible you will find that you are instructed to attend the assemblies of the community, and not stay home reading your Bible.
