Never noticed any teasing about this issue and yeah, if someone did say anything, I imagine he would be called "gay" and made fun of for that, not the uncircumcised guy.
The reality is, that this issue is overblown to make people feel more comfortable with circumcising their sons. We don't accept teasing as a reason for any other form of body modification, so why is it different with circumcision?

My oldest son was circumcised. Something didn't go right, so he is a little deformed. I would not let my other 2 be circumcised. In the Midwest, it seemed to be a bit of a problem, but when we moved to the southwest, it seemed that no one even cared.
My older son did resort to the example you gave, and it caused more problems with the teaser being tease by everyone else about being homosexual. My son ended up getting beat up for just implying such a thing.
Being different, in any way, in the peer education system this country has adopted, always leads to teasing and bullying. If your son cannot hold his own, physically and mentally/emotionally, against a group that is comfortable teasing in this manner, it is best that he learn to use tactics that speak about his ability to handle it rather than pointing out the obvious. What I am talking about is him saying something like, "At least I am 'all Naturaaal'," rather than saying, "Dude, were you checking out my penis?" If he is comfortable with the fight, your suggestion works well, too. It totally takes the focus off the initial teasing. You have to know what he can handle to give him the best advice.
It is only human nature that people look at each other. Our society does not teach modesty in any form, therefore, you have these situations where, especially in the locker room, children gather without parental supervision and instruction in proper behavior, and teach themselves and each other what to expect. This is a disservice to our children.
The original reason for circumcision was the Mosaic Law for the Jews. My mother argued that it was a sanitary issue for non Jews. I am a Catholic, and have found that for many Catholics, it is a throw back from the Jewish customs on which Christianity was founded in most of my peers' minds.

I went to an all boys school where I believe I was the only uncircumcised person there. I was never teased about it. Other guys casually mentioned it, mostly out of curiosity, but there was no reason to joke about it.
I was much more concerned over what a girl might say or think. I was told that many girls would reject me for it.. It did raise some fears in that sense.

The "teaser" response would be. "No, it's just so blatantly obvious there is an uncircumcised dick in here. It's like a beacon!"
Just teach your kid to fight. In the 8th grade I beat the molasses out of some 9th grader and even though I was suspended for a week my life turned around at that point and school became a lot easier on me overnight.

If you'd put this in the Men's Health category, instead of Pregnancy & Parenting, you'd probably get more responses.
Yeah, I'm sure some teasing does go on...when you're in a room full of naked people, you can't help but notice things.

My husband tells me that whenever he noticed it, he thought it was kinda odd, but never really said anything.. It shouldn't really matter. Everyone is different...circumcised or not....
And the the boys who say they never 'checked out' another guys penis.. lmao.. you don't really have to STARE at it to notice that it's uncircumcised... especially if you are.
And yes, girls do talk about how much bigger/smaller another girls **** are.

Circumcision is the surgical procedure that removes some or all of the foreskin (prepuce) from the penis. The word "circumcision" comes from Latin circum (meaning "around") and cædere (meaning "to cut").
Circumcision predates recorded human history, with pictures in stone-age cave drawings and Ancient Egyptian tombs, though some pictures may be open to interpretation.Theories include that circumcision is a form of ritual sacrifice or offering, a health precaution, a sign of submission to a deity, a rite of passage to adulthood, a mark of defeat or slavery, or an attempt to alter aesthetics or sexuality. Male circumcision is a religious commandment in Judaism as well as in Islam, and customary in some Oriental Orthodox and other Christian churches in Africa.
Circumcision is most common in the Middle East, the USA and parts of Africa and Asia. According to WHO 30% of men worldwide have had the procedure, mostly in countries where it is common for religious or cultural reasons. Genital integrity supporters condemn infant circumcision as being medically unjustified and an infringement upon individual bodily rights, while advocates of circumcision regard it as a worthwhile public health measure, particularly in the control of HIV.
In March 2007 the World Health Organization and UNAIDS recognized male circumcision as an effective intervention for HIV prevention, but warned that male circumcision only provides partial protection and should not replace other interventions to prevent the heterosexual transmission of HIV. They have stated that scientific findings regarding the role of male circumcision in preventing heterosexual HIV infection are particularly relevant in regions where the incidence of heterosexually acquired HIV infection is high, such as Sub-Saharan Africa, and stressed that the procedure must be carried out safely and under conditions of informed consent.
Circumcision may also be used to treat inflammation of the glans and penile cancer.
*personally, if im gonna have a male child, ill have him circumcised cause its tradition in my country. as for what to say to the bullies, yeah exactly! "Dude, were you checking out my penis?" is the right reply. LOL.
