Can CFD be used to conduct heat transfer studies on nanofluids?

CFD has been used to conduct heat transfer studies on microfluids. Can this be extended to nanofluids???

Maybe -- some of the assumptions of CFD start to break down with the short scale. If the right boudary conditions are used then it might be possible.
