Depends what you like to do.....

Trinidad and Tobago alone are different as night and day....
Trinidad = the Industrial capital of the Caribbean... Or to borrow the phrase the "Hong Kong" of the Caribbean.... Tobago is as layed back and pretty much unspoiled as you'll find in the Caribbean....

But within Trinidad you have lots to do...

The Pitch lake in Trinidad is a naturally occurring lake of tar(asphalt).... There've been tales of people building stuff on it (because it feels solid) and all of a sudden the house or structure starts to sink in...... But not only that... The entire lake of tar moves--- so for example some things which have been absorbed like 100 years ago might suddenly resurface out of no where near the shore... But it is interesting to some people. The tar from the pitch lake has been used to pave the runway at JFK airport in New York. And also a bulk of the asphalt that China has been using to prepare for the 2008 Olympics has come from Trinidad's pitch lake...

If you're into birds Trinidad and Tobago is a major annual bird watching site for birds that migrate south during the winter....

Then again there's always carnival that happens from the day after boxing day until lent....
additionally, you can just explore the country... The island has a mixture of French, Spanish and English colonial architecture.... Or you could always hit the beach. It is totally up to you.... There's lots to do in T&T but I'm not sure what you're into...

Is dis a retorical question?
I cant imagine why anyone would say anything other than Carnival. Is there any other attraction in Trinidad that pulls thousands of people from all over the world into our beautiful islands just for a few days? Come on.

But what the hell 'rong with all yuh!!! What happen to St. James and Smokie's...

Think of how St. James is a drug. Check it out.

They send a helicopter to pick-up ah man after a football match to get him to the Piarco to catch a flight to London. The man take the helicopter reach in the airport in time, and then he decide to F--- with that. He jump in a taxi and head right back to St. James and Smokie's. Who that man? Dwight "I lose my Manchester starting position because of this" Yorke.

loooooooooossssssssshhhhhhhh!!! Nothing better than eating ah roti that cook 8:00 pm the night before at 3:00 am in the morning with ah cold beer.

Only in St. James my friends.

eemmmm ! de best is de people. Good to see you around doh.
But seriously one of the best attraction is the bush or "the forest" as some would say. Lots to see and do is just that it really don't get nuff press.
They talk bout eco tourism and ignore the sleeping giant, but i not dealing with that today.
