Jews are primarily in Israel, but Christians are everywhere.

The Jews had a language (Hebrew) because they were not only a religion, but also a race and nation. So they all oived together in one small area and spoke the same language.

Christians are found in every part of the world, every race and every nation. As such, they speak all kinds of different languages.

At one time, the Christian church did use a single language (Latin) for all of its services. Over time, the church expanded and Latin became a dead language not used anywhere else. Instead of making it easier for everyone by having a single language, it made it harder by using an unknown language. So it has been dropped for church services.

Today, Christians use whatever language is spoken in the area where they live.

Christianity is prevalent throughout the world so it follows that every country in the world will use their own language.

Judaism goes back way before Christianity and had a written and spoken language of its own. Even though the Jews have migrated to other countries, they retain the basic foundation of their belief system including their holy texts in the original language.

The idea behind Christianity is that it is available to all and not just a select group or race.

The Jews have descended from a tribal nation that had to have their own language (i.e. Hebrew)

Christians are descended from (nearly) all nations and have no common language.

However, the Established church did from early on use Latin as a global language so that all Christians would speak the same, but since the reformation this has diminished, and is rarely used outside catholic and orthodox circles now, and even then it is in the minority.

First off.. Jewish people has their language from the start... then came the relization of their religion which tied into it. So if you'd want to compare that to Christians... we should have a christian language rather than english or what not... it just so happens that with Jewish people... their language is how their religion was bestowed apoin their people.

unfortunately the christians I run into seem to have a silent language. It's called talk the talk but not walk the walk and be the most critical judge of others. Me? I'm happy to avoid the whole mess and believe my own beliefs which makes me atheist.

The Jews are a race of people that all lived together at one point in time thus they had their own language.

Christians come from all over the world and people can convert to Christianity but technically you can't convert to Judaism because it is a bloodline.

Why do certain religions need a different language? Did you even think about your question before you typed it in?
